Tamil film came under the scrutiny as it had a sequence which talked about GST. Several protests made the scene controversial and soon it became a sensation on the internet and also on Twitter.

Under the News & Politics section, Diwali was the most discussed topic this year. The festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm by people and it trended well on Twitter.
