Baba Ramdev Finally Took To Twitter & Reacted About His “Death News”! Here’s What He Said

Every coin has two sides and so is the case with the Internet. On one hand, it’s of a great use and a mine of knowledge but on the other, it’s the best place to spread filth and hoax. Without a doubt, the usage totally depends on us! Agree?

Regularly, we come across a number of hoax messages on social media and one of them was about the death of Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev in a car accident on the Mumbai-Pune highway. It was on Tuesday that the message went viral on WhatsApp, stating that five people including Baba Ramdev were injured while traveling to Mumbai from Pune. In a pic, Yoga Guru can be seen on a stretcher.

Take a look at the viral pics:

The news has been denied by highway control officials and here’s what DNA is told by an official,

“No such incident has taken place on the Mumbai-Pune highway. The messages are fake.”

In actual fact, these pics date back to 2011 when Baba Ramdev met an accident and had been taken to a Bihar hospital.

Even Ramdev took to Twitter and put all the rumors to rest by posting two photos and tweeting, “Took yog shivir of thousand of yogis in Haridwar today. I am safe and healthy, don’t believe rumours.”

It’s very saddening to see that even educated people circulate such messages without verifying their authenticity. As a responsible citizen, a person must cross-check the information before sharing it with others. What do you say? Share your views in the comments section below.
