The current Pakistani pace bowling attack is certainly one of the best of the cricket world and they are performing pretty well in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023. In the match against India, their pacers took all the 10 wickets and now in the match against Bangladesh, they wreaked havoc over Bangladeshi batters and took 9 wickets out of 10.

The match was played yesterday at Gaddafi stadium, Lahore and after winning the toss, Bangladesh decided to bat first in their Super Four clash of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023. The wickets kept falling at regular intervals and the whole Bangladesh team was out for 193 runs in 38.4 overs despite some brilliant knocks by skipper Shakib Al Hasan (53 runs, 57 balls, 7 fours) and Mushfiqur Rahim (64 runs, 87 balls, 5 fours).

The target wasn’t a big one for the Pakistani batters as they chased it successfully in 39.3 overs and won the match by 7 wickets. Opener Imam-ul-Haq played a beautiful knock of 78 runs (84 balls, 5 fours & 4 sixes) and he was well-supported Mohammad Rizwan who remained unbeaten at 63 runs for which he faced 79 deliveries and his innings included 7 fours & 1 six.

After the match, Pakistani skipper Babar Azam praised his pacers and gave them the full credit. He also said that they picked Faheem Ashraf because there was grass on the wicket which they also like.

He also said that the crowd has always supported them whenever they have played there and he is sure that the crowd must have enjoyed the match.

Talking about the big match against India on Sunday, Babar Azam says that this win will definitely give them confidence, adding that they are always ready for the big match and they will give their 100 percent.

Haris Rauf was awarded with the Player of the Match award for his superb bowling (4/19 in 6 overs).
