In a shocking development, MS Dhoni has taken a BIG decision. He has stepped down as the Indian Cricket team captain from T20 and ODI formats of the game.
However, he will be available for selection for both the formats. There have been a lot of buzz about how long Dhoni would be continuing as the captain after the success of Virat Kohli, and finally this news has come out as a shocker.
This was a sudden announcement and Dhoni has informed BCCI about the same.

“Mahendra Singh Dhoni has informed the BCCI, that he wishes to step down as the captain of the Indian Cricket Team from the One Day Internationals and the T20 Internationals formats of the game.”

This is indeed a very sad news for all Dhoni fans; he has shut down all rumors by taking this sudden decision. By this, he means that he is ready to play the England series under the Captaincy of Virat Kohli.
