There was a lot of hysteria and hype before Bahubali 2’s release; seeing all this, there was 100 percent surety that it would enjoy a HUGE opening at the Box Office.
The advance booking figures itself have surprised us; the movie stars Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhati, Rana Daggubati and Prabhas in lead roles and everyone has done their best.
Just like Rajinikanth movies, even Bahubali was houseful; tickets were sold at sky-high prices and so, it was obvious that the opening day collections are going to be superb.

Wow, on the first day, the collections are “MASSIVE”; it has crossed the 100 crore mark (All versions) on the opening day itself. It has shattered all records and it is the first Indian movie to enjoy such high collections in India. Minting 121 crores and that too on the very first day is an achievement in itself.

Here’s the breakup:
Andhra Pradesh/Telangana (Telugu) – 53 crores!
Hindi – 41 crores!
Karnataka (Kannada)- 12 crores!
Tamil Nadu (Tamil)- 9.5 crores!
Kerala (Malayalam)- 6 crores!
Total – 121.5 crores!
The Hindi version collections were 41 crores, which means Bahubali beat the opening day collections of Dangal (29 crores) and Sultan (36 crores).
OMG! These collections are hard to digest but this is the “Reality”. We are sure Bahubali 2 will break all big records in the days to come.
