On Thursday, a Bangladeshi national was arrested on Mumbai’s domestic airport since he shot air hostesses’ videos on his cell phone for boarding an Indigo flight.
The incident had taken place on Indigo Flight 6E 326 between Mumbai to Kolkata. A co-passenger alleged that 3 passengers began shooting the airhostesses’ videos on their cell phones.
In spite of requests, they continued taking pictures, after which the pilot was approached by the air hostesses. After this, a crew member confiscated their cell phones, claimed the co-passenger.
The crew also informed the airport control room and when they landed, 3 of them were held up by the security personnel. However, 1 of them managed to escape. These passengers had travelled from Bangladesh to Kolkata by road.
After the complaint was filed, only 1 passenger, named Ashim Bhumik, who is a Bangladesh national, was arrested under IPC section 354, which refers to or criminal force to woman with intent of modesty, said Virendra Mishra, the Deputy Commissioner or Police.
