Finally, BCCI has taken the decision that team India would take part in the upcoming Champions Trophy 2017. Today, the Board has announced the squad on Twitter; mixed reactions from fans were expected.
4 years back, India had won this title in England and now, once again it has a chance to prove its mettle. Rohit Sharma who was ruled out due to his thigh injury in November 2016 has got an entry into this list. On the other hand, KL Rahul is out due to his shoulder injury. What’s surprising is that Gautam Gambhir’s name is not; many people haven’t welcomed this decision and have slammed BCCI for the same.
