BI’s Tiranga is a video that attempts to remind the people what it is to be an Indian. It highlights the journey of the National Flag. It brings to light the aspiration and inspiration that led to the birth of our national flag. It is an expression of the various events and thoughts that the country reflects.
The poem has been written by Priyam Redican – a spoken word performer and the visuals of the video showcase dancers from Nalanda Dance Academy performing their interpretation in Bharatnatyam, Kathak and Mohiniyattam of the words.
While, it reminds the viewer of the journey our ancestors had to endure to earn their freedom, it also reflects – what that freedom is in the contemporary sense.
