Ben Stokes’ Hilarious 3-Letter Word Tweet After U-Turn From ODI Retirement Goes Viral

The English cricketer Ben Stokes who leads his team in test matches is the talk of the town currently after his name featured in the team which will be playing 4-match ODI series and 4-match T20I series against New Zealand.

If you remember, Ben Stokes took retirement from ODI format citing that it is becoming cumbersome for him to play all the three formats because of which he is taking retirement from ODI format and he will focus on test matches and T20I format. He was praised a lot recently for the manner in which he led his team in the recently concluded Ashes series against Australia.

Ben Stokes played an important role in his team’s T20 World Cup victory last year and he was also a part of the ODI team which won the 2019 World Cup.

Earlier when Ben Stokes was asked about his possible comeback in ODIs, he always replied in negative and seemed to be pretty determined for not making a comeback but his return has certainly made the England cricket fans excited.

After the inclusion of Ben Stokes in the ODI team which will play a 4-match series against New Zealand, the manner in which Ben Stokes reacted has left many laughing out loud. He took to X (formerly Twitter) and posted a three letter tweet, “Lol”.

While speaking to media, Luke Wright who is the national selector of England’s men team says that any series which they play against the Kiwis is closely fought and it will also give them a chance to check their preparation for the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Luke Wright further adds that Ben Stokes’ return in England’s ODI squad will add more quality to the team as he is a match-winner and a good leader and he is quite sure that every English fan will be happy seeing Ben Stokes back in the ODI team.

The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 will be played in India from October 5 and the opening match will be played between England and New Zealand, the finalists of the 2019 World Cup.
