Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being criticized continuously by opposition parties for demonetization as to some extent, the decision of ban on Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 currency notes has led to chaotic situation because everyone needs to exchange and deposit their old notes. Bank employees are facing the heat of this situation as they have to work for long hours to cater the needs of customers.
ATMs are also without cash plus social media is filled with photos of long queues, closed ATMs and people expressing their anger and outrage.
One man, Tinu Cherian Abraham who is from Bengaluru and is a social media influencer, decided to check out on his own whether the ATMs have cash or not or media is just spreading false news.
Tinu visited 23 ATMs of Bengaluru city and shared the photo of each ATM along with the situation over there on Twitter!
They say ATMs r running normal. Thought to withdraw some money and perhaps do a reality check if media is 'spreading lies'. #DeMonetisation
