The elections in the U.S had gained a lot of popularity as 2 popular names Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were competing against each other for the position of the president. People were finding it difficult to decide as to who the right candidate is.
Finally, DONALD TRUMP won the presidential elections of US and made his way to the White House! Donald Trump was the Republican nominee for the President of United states, while Hillary Clinton was the Democratic nominee.
Yes, Trump secured 276 seats and won the elections, leaving behind Hillary Clinton with just 218 seats out of the 270 seats required! America is rejoicing…
Moreover, Republicans won the US House and US Senate with 233 and 51 seats respectively!
Hillary already had hands on experience in office since last few years, since she has been the United States Secretary, U.S Senator from New York, First Lady Of Arkansas and First Lady of the U.S, but unfortunately, she couldn’t win.
However, there were lots of controversies surrounding Trump, as many women made claims of being sexually assaulted by him in the past. However, Trump has denied this accusation and described it as a “strategy” to smear his reputation and candidacy. Leaving aside all these controversies, people voted in favor of him.
Millions of Americans voted, and all were eager to see who the 45th president of United States is. The winning candidate had to secure 270 electoral votes out of 538 votes for becoming the occupant of white House and Trump has finally done it.
Earlier this morning, Donald Trump won the elections in the key swing states of Ohio, North Carolina and Florida, and seeing this, it was damn sure that he is getting an entry into the White House. Hillary was expected to win in Florida, but unfortunately, the Republicans surpassed her!
