The New Year 2017 came with a rude shock for the fans of Gaurav Chopra, as the actor got evicted from the house of Bigg Boss. The other two contestants who were in danger zone with Gaurav were Mona Lisa and VJ Bani. Gaurav’s elimination came as a surprise because if the popularity of all the three is taken into consideration, then Mona Lisa is the least popular. May be this eviction is the result of Gaurav being inactive in the house for quite some time now.
However, the actor has no qualms about being evicted; in fact, he is happy that he lived in the house with dignity. While talking to Mid-Day, Gaurav said,
“I didn’t go with an agenda. I am glad I kept my dignity when I got eliminated. It was an honour to see people expressing their love for me on Twitter. I was trending on Twitter on No. 1 spot.”
Gaurav also disclosed some important points of the contract,
“According to the contract, we weren’t allowed to talk about religion or politics, speak in English, get violent or physical. Before entering the house, I asked the makers to assure I would be safe inside the house. The fights that happen on Bigg Boss are real. You have no idea how dangerous it can be.”
He also asserted that he was not trying to be artificial inside the house and he was just himself all the time. Gaurav also said that whatever happens in the house, be it relationships or fights, everything is real. In his words,
“The house plays with your head and for people, who are desperate for attention and footage, this is dangerous game to play.”
After the elimination of Gaurav Chopra, it may become difficult for Bani J to stay in the house as Gaurav was the only person with whom she got along well. They may not have been the best of the friends but they were always there to support each other quite well.
Gaurav also made a tweet with a photo of Bani who was seen holding one of Gaurav’s shirt and a sentimental message, saying, “Just saw this and …. …..Yes these are mine.. I’m there at least in spirit with her. We are going to miss this friendship.”
