One question that everyone had in their minds was “How much did Hina and Shilpa earn?”. We all know that Shilpa earned 44 lakhs as prize money. But do you know that in reality it was Hina who earned more than her. Yes, even though Hina didn’t win the show, she earned more money than Shilpa Shinde.
If reports from SpotboyE are to be believed, Shilpa got Rs 1.29 crores in total while Hina got Rs 1.75 crores in total. Yes, the difference between Hina and Shilpa’s pay cheque is a whopping 46 lakhs.
The breakup of their money
As per Hina’s contract, she was paid 1.25 crores for 1st 10 weeks & Rs 50 lakhs for last 5 weeks. So, the total amount of money she got for 15 weeks was Rs 1.75 crores.
According to Shilpa’s contract, she was paid just 6 lakh per week for 1st 10 weeks i.e. 60 lakhs. Beyond 10 weeks, her amount mentioned was Rs 5 lakhs per week. So the total for 15 weeks is Rs 85 lakhs. Moreover, she won prize money of Rs 44 lakhs which totaled to 1.29 crores.
Well, Hina has gained a lot of monetary benefit even though she failed to get the trophy. Is this the reason why Vikas and Shilpa were joking about Hina paying the bills since she minted enough money?
