Bihar which itself is a densely populated state, thus an effort coming from a paan seller from there is itself an achievement.

On being asked about his budget allocation, Sah said, It is from the help of few NGO’s that he managed to distribute free condoms initially, but after a certain period when NGO’s stopped supplying him condoms, he made it a point not to defer from his motive , so now he buys and give it for free.

This small awareness campaign from his side has added more business to his shop, since people now come more often to avail free condoms. A proud Sah said, “It is my small effort or contribution to help population control.”. Sah is also known for encouraging around 300 women to undergo sterilization. Indeed India, needs more people like Nandlal.
