We can clearly declare it as the most bizarre news of the day, which is BTW also trending in Twitter. Yeah you read it right, Kumbh & Condoms. I know it is a weird “Kumbh-ination” but it is actually true.
Interestingly the story goes something like this. The Nasik Kumbh Mela which is just a week away, has drawn major attention much before it starts. According to the reports, the organizer of the nation’s biggest religious “Mela” have sent more than 5 lakhs condoms to ensure safety from Aids and other such diseases to transmit.
The reason they stated, for the extra supply in such a religious mela was, “It is not just a national event now, people from all across the world come and join the mela and take a dip in the holy water. Many foreigners also make to the pious trip, and in such a case we just want to ensure that no sex related diseases is caused”.
We do no find the defending reason bizarre. What’s your take?
But the supply of Condoms have already outraged many Indians and they believe it is a sheer insult of the Hindu religion!
