Some leaders misuse their power and prevent other officers from performing their duties.
One such example is Rajdhani Yadav, a BJP leader from Jharkhand, who physically assaulted a DTO i.e. a District Transport Officer just because he performed his duty.
Yes, a DTO from Latehar District F Barla was assaulted, because he removed the nameplate (Having the name and designation) from Yadav’s vehicle. F Barla stopped that vehicle and started removing the nameplate; in this process, Yadav argued with him and when things turned worse, he assaulted Barla.
The DTO was badly injured and was immediately rushed to Sadar Hospital. Police officials registered an FIR and arrested Yadav. Anil Kumar Singh, the Deputy Development Commissioner, said that strict action will be taken against Yadav because he stopped an official from doing his duty.
