Social media is indeed a great way to communicate with celebrities; you get a chance to check their updates and at times, interact with them. Sometimes, we also get to see the bad side of social media.
Of late, hacking of social media accounts has become a common affair. If you remember, we had reported how Rahul Gandhi, INC and Barkha Dutt’s Twitter handles were hacked.
The recent target of this crime is none other than famous actor Boney Kapoor. Well, his inactive Twitter account has been hacked. He last accessed it on 20th of September 2015 to wish his wife.
Amann Khuranaa, (A Bollywood Life source) got a request from Boney Kapoor’s account. As soon as he accepted it, the hacker started asking for monetary help for Lucknow Show Funds. Amann was surprised as to how a person like Boney Kapoor is asking for funds; on agreeing, the hacker requested him to transfer Rs 10,000 in his Paytm account.
Bollywood Life tried reaching the number (Which fake Boney Kapoor gave) but no one picked up. Even on TrueCaller, no name was shown; it just showed that it’s a Gujarat number.
Amann was not the only one; later, even a person named Ankit Yadav received a message from Boney Kapoor’s account. This time, he requested for Rs 5,000.

Luckily, the duo didn’t believe that he’s the “Real Boney Kapoor”; they immediately spread this word and shared screenshots. We wonder how Boney Kapoor will react now.
