But with its latest movie hitting the theater and the debutante actress Bhumi Pednekar being the main female lead, all the stereotype notions seems to have got broken. She is not a conventional heroine.
And if her Before & After Pictures are something to go by, she is a star in the making.
There are many facts that you may not know about this bulgy actress, who has now last kilos of weight. You may feel that she is just a onetime show but let’s get our facts clear. She has been signed under YRF banner for a three film deal. Now that is truly amazing. While for most of the actress to debut in Bollywood, the short cut gateway is Modelling, and for a change Bhumi has no nearby link to models or modelling. But Yes, She was attached with YRF for a long time, & has worked as a Assistant to the Casting Director Shanoo for Yash Raj Film “Baand, Baaja, Baraat”.
For many the dream is to be the reigning queen of Bollywood, and Bhumi has no such plans for now, rather she would like to become a “future leader” as her Twitter profile suggests. And, for some 30 year old lady, it takes guts to make such a strong decision to make a breakthrough now.
P.S Fun Fact: Bhumi Pednekar is so Gutsy that she has watched KRK’s Deshdrohi for almost 100 time. Now that’s something really Shocking.
