The cinema Owners and exhibitors association have decided in a meeting today that no films with Pakistani artists will be screened, not even in single screens. This boycott by Cinema Owners and Exhibitors association will be applicable on all films that have Pakistani actors, musicians, technicians. Irrespective of the fact whether the film has already been shot or is in the midway.

Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees might not hit the screens. These movies are being majorly attacked in the media for starring Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan. MNS has already made clear that they won’t allow Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees to be released in Maharashtra. However, The board has already imposed a ban on the movie in 4 states – Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa and parts of Karnataka.

Earlier Raees producer Ritesh Sidhwani was quoted saying:

I’d only say 1 thing.I have shot with @TheMahiraKhan for 45 days and finished the film.i hope that clarifies things.

That’s not all, Shah Rukh Khan’s starrer ”Dear Zindagi’ too might face the boycott for starring Ali Zafar in a major role.
