Virat Kohli who is a part of RCB since 2008 is undoubtedly one of the best cricketers of all times but he has been going through a lean patch for more than 2 years and his inconsistency with bat has definitely hurt RCB in this season as well. Though he gave indications of getting back in form in the last league match which RCB played against Gujarat Titans, he once again failed to make an impact in the important matches of the team.

Virat Kohli’s form is a matter of concern for not just RCB but the Indian selectors as well because he can play an important role in India’s campaign in the T20 World Cup which is scheduled to take place later this year.

The former Aussie cricketer Brett Lee who dominated the cricket world with his pace and lethal bowling has some advice for the former Indian skipper. In an interview, Brett Lee states that the most difficult thing is when Kohli doesn’t score runs, mostly the team also doesn’t perform well. Brett Lee further says that when Virat was in purple patch and scored 800-900 runs, RCB also performed pretty well and a lot more is being expected from Kohli.

Brett Lee is of the opinion that may be it is the time for Virat Kohli to just get away from cricket, take a break and refresh his mind.

Talking about the Indian pacers, the former Aussie pacer has praised Mohsin Khan and Avesh Khan, saying that they have real talent. He adds that he likes the Indian cricket system is working on producing good pace bowlers, though there are some really nice spin bowlers as well yet pacers will be of more use in the T20 World Cup which is going to be played on the fast and bouncy wickets of Australia.

Brett Lee calls sensational Umran Malik a fantastic bowler and hopes that he soon plays for India and also represents the team in the purest format of the game as well.
