Abhishek Bachchan often makes headlines and mostly for different reasons other than movies, but do you know that he has a Guinness World record in his name? Shocked?
Yes, Junior Bachchan has made a Guinness World record for “Most Public Appearances Made By A Film Star In 12 Hours”.
Abhishek made this record by visiting seven places while he was promoting his movie “Delhi-6” in 2009 in theaters of these cities – Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurugram (earlier known as Gurgaon), Chandigarh and Mumbai on 22nd Feb. He covered the distance of 1800 kms in 12 hrs by car and private jet.
Sonam Kapoor played the female lead in the movie and she joined Abhishek in his final location which was Mumbai for promotions.
Earlier, this record was in the name of Hollywood actor Will Smith who participated in three media events in 24 hrs while promoting his movie “I, Robot”.
Abhishek wanted this record not just for himself but for the whole country and its citizens.
