Yes, the self-proclaimed Godman has been awarded with PhD, a doctorate degree by World Records University, London. Now the question that pops up in our minds is why he is being awarded with this doctorate degree.

As per the website of the university, the World Records University is an autonomous body created by the group of Record Books all across the world and it is the only university which offers Doctorate degree to record holders/breakers community.
Just To Inform You – World Records University’s India’s office is situated in Faridabad, Haryana, and in the same state, Dera Sacha Sauda of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan is also based.
Rachna Sharma, the head of university’s India office stated, “Ram Rahim has 53 world records in various categories, out of which 17 are Guinness records, 27 are Asia Book records, 7 India Book records and 2 are Limca records. Basically, Babaji’s personality is an all-round one, which we considered. In the five years of India operations, the university has awarded around 100 Indians so far.”
