Finally, the long wait is over for CBSE class 12 students as the results are declared and you’ll be amazed at surprisingly good marks of toppers!
First of all, let’s just inform you that if you are a CBSE class 12 student and has not checked your result yet, you can go to either of these websites and know your marks: cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in and results.nic.in.
It was at about 10:45 that the results had been out. And this time again, girls have beaten boys in terms of high passing percentage; it’s 88.58 for girls while for boys, it’s 78.85. With 97.61%, Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram’s pass percentage is the highest in India. In 2016, 10,67,900 students registered for the examination and this count was higher than that of last year which was 10,40,368.
Talking of the toppers, Sukriti Gupta from Delhi has topped board examinations of CBSE Class 12 by scoring 99.4%. She is from Montfort School and has got total 497 out of 500 marks, while Kurukshetra’s Palak Goel of Tagore Public School, Haryana, missed the position of 1st topper just with 1 mark as she scored 496.

And surprisingly, two candidates have shared the third position with 495 marks, one being Chennai’s Ajish Sekar from PSBB Senior Secondary School and the other being Somy Uppal from St Theresa’s Convent School, Haryana.
