The whole nation is surprised as Modiji has suddenly announced a ban on Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes with immediate effect. These currencies are scrapped starting 9th of November. It has become a confusing situation for all the citizens as all this has happened without any sort of prior notice.
As per Modiji, holding these notes will help in fighting corruption and issue of black money! However, there is an option of exchanging the currency from 10th of November to 30th of December at the nearest banks or Post Offices, by showing ID card.
People just don’t know how react; while many of us are happy that it is a step towards better India, some are sad because they have black money stocked up at homes.
