Yes! this good news has been confirmed by one of the biggest jeans makers in the world and renowned brand Levi’s CEO Chip Bergh. In the latest interview with Fortune magazine, he revealed the much-needed reason why you should not wash your jeans.
Chip Bergh explained that a psyche of a person is usually to wash their clothes on a daily basis after they’ve worn something but this pattern can be ignored for a good pair of denim which mostly need no washing. One can toss them in the washing machine once in a while, bursting an ignored fact about jeans. So no longer do you need to add that denim to your laundry list except for when they really beg you to.
But there’s a stronger reason than laziness for not washing your jeans; as Chip explains that washing denim often actually causes more harm than good to the cloth. If they do get dirty just clean the dirty spot and if they are a mess then do it the old-fashioned way Levi’s CEO does: Wash them with your hands and hang them to dry.
