Chetan Bhagat Trolled Hilariously On Twitter For His Own Tweets On Historians

Chetan Bhagat, one of the most famous and controversial best-selling novel writer got himself embroiled in one more twitter war, when he expressed his opinion on the writers and historians returning their awards issue. The writers, filmmakers are returning their national awards citing the growing intolerance in the country as a reason and yesterday more than 50 historians also raised their voices against the communal issues taking place in the country. It all started with the Dadri murder case in which a man was killed on the suspicion of killing and eating a cow.

Just as a gun incident in US doesn't make every American a gun toting murderer, a few unfortunate incidents don't make Indians intolerant.

Return your award. Go for it. But be clear what you are returning it for. Are Indians intolerant? Or is the govt intolerant?

What do historians do? I am genuinely curious. This happened. Then this happened. Then this. Ok work done for the day.

A statement was issued by the Historians which included some eminent names such as Romila Thapar, Irfan Habib, KN Pannikar and Mridula Mukherjee, the statement said, “Differences of opinion are being sought to be settled by using physical violence. Arguments are met not with counter arguments but with bullets.”

We are not sure whether Chetan was trying to be sarcastic or humorous with his tweet but Twitter was more than enthusiastic to reply him back. We have brought some really unique and humorous tweets for you, have a look and do let us know your opinion regarding the matter:

@chetan_bhagat What do authors do? I am genuinely curious. Judge one talent show, then judge one dance show. Ok work done for the day.
