Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah may have been one of the most popular shows of the Indian television but at present, it is surrounded by many controversies and this time it seems that the makers are in serious trouble.
Actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal who was associated with TMKOC for 15 years and played the role of Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi quit the show 2 months back and she has filed a case of s*xual harassment against the producer Asit Kumarr Modi, project head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj.
After filing the case, the actress has now made a strong statement on her Instagram account as she has posted a reel in which she seems to define her situation and she is also giving a warning to the makers. In the reel, Jennifer states, “Chuppi ko meri kamzori mat samajhna, mein chup thi kyunki saleeka hai mujhme, khuda gawah hai ki sach kya hai, yaad rakh, uske ghar mein koi farak nahi tujhme ya mujhme” (Don’t take my silence as my weakness, I was silent because I have decency, God knows what the truth is and remember there is no difference between you and me in His house.)
She posted the video clip with the caption, “Truth will come out…Justice will prevail…”

On the other hand, Asit Kumarr Modi has denied all the allegations and termed them as baseless. He says that there is no truth in those allegations as Jennifer wants to spoil his image. He further says that it is his genuine reaction and he is not trying to cover up the incident or make any excuses because this is how he is in the real life and everybody knows about him.
Asit Kumarr Modi also told the media house that Jennifer was fired from the show and she was asked to leave the set by his director and the team. He even assured the media house that his team will send all the proof and documents to justify his stand.
Earlier, Shailesh Lodha who used to play the character of Taarak Mehta has sent a legal notice to Asit Kumarr Modi in regard to outstanding payments but this time the allegations are of very serious nature and it may have severe repercussions. What do you think?
