It’s a general perception that girls’ parents need to be more alert and cautious as far as the safety of their daughters is concerned. However, parents of minor girls in Chennai were having sleepless nights and the reason was a teenage boy.
Yes, you read it right! For more than 20 days, a student of the 10th standard from Chitlapakkam’s govt. school had been kissing random minor girls in Selaiyur and East Tambaram. At times, his kisses were so intense that the girls’ lips started bleeding.
It was on Sunday evening that a woman SI arrested the accused after catching him red-handed at a time when he made an attempt of running subsequent to kissing a minor girl in East Tambaram.
The moment he was overpowered by the lady SI, people from neighborhood rushed at the place and began to thrash him.
The furious crowd was somehow controlled and the accused was taken to a hospital in close proximity. At the same time, the Selaiyur police was informed too.
As per local public, he was seen in the CCTV recording previously but couldn’t be tracked down. Surprisingly, a neighborhood watch team was also made for catching the lad who was annoying minor girls.
After getting the news of his being hospitalized, many folks from neighborhood made it to the hospital and the Selaiyur cops were forced to remind locals that they couldn’t take law into hands, especially when the accused is a minor.
Subsequent to initial treatment, the boy was taken to a secret place by the cops.
