Nidhi Yadav, a high school topper from Maharajganj district, was appointed District Magistrate (DM) for a day as part of the Mission Shakti initiative. This honor was bestowed upon her by the current DM, Anunaya Jha, recognising her academic achievements and leadership potential. During her brief time as DM, Nidhi interacted with officials, addressed local community concerns and reviewed files related to revenue matters at the District Magistrate Court. She expressed her ambition to become a full-time DM in the future to contribute to public welfare and societal improvement.
Currently studying in Class 11, Nidhi is diligently preparing for competitive exams. She described this opportunity as an unforgettable milestone in her life. Having consistently excelled in her academics, she attributes her success to the unwavering support of her family, especially her parents who have been a constant source of motivation, pushing her to achieve excellence.
In a recent interview with a local news channel, Nidhi emphasised the pivotal role her father Sanjay Yadav and her sister have played in her academic journey. Their consistent guidance and encouragement have been key to her steady progress toward her goals. Nidhi credits her family for always backing her, allowing her to focus on her studies and strive for success.
Nidhi aspires to pursue her higher education at IIT before entering the Indian Administrative Services (IAS), where she aims to focus on social service and community welfare. Inspired by Anunaya Jha, she hopes to follow a similar career path and dedicate herself to public service. The experience of serving as DM for a day has significantly boosted her confidence and further fueled her determination to achieve her ambitions.
After completing her Class 10, Nidhi moved to Gorakhpur for higher studies, where she continues to excel academically while preparing for competitive exams.
