Congress Made A Big Mistake While Congratulating Team India, Got Trolled Like Never Before

The Indian cricket team has comfortably won the two-test match series against West Indies by 2-0 and even though West Indians tried to put up a tough fight, they were no match for the hosts.

After this victory, team India started getting congratulatory messages from their fans, former cricketers and political parties too. The Congress party also took to its official Twitter account and congratulated the Indian cricket team for their series win but ended up getting trolled.

Congress posted a photo in which the Indian cricket team can be seen celebrating a dismissal of West Indian batsman and shared it with caption,

“Congratulations to the men-in-blue for the 2-0 Test series win against West Indies. #IndvWI 🎊”

The term men-in-blue used in the message didn’t go well with Twitterati as this was a test match in which the players are dressed in white and men-in-blue is used when the team plays ODIs and T20i and they are dressed in blue.

Netizens did not miss this golden chance and trolled the IT cell of Congress as well as the party’s President Rahul Gandhi in the most epic way. Here are some selected tweets:
