Protesting against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi proved costly for the Congress party workers of Himachal unit. In Shimla, some party workers of Congress party got burnt as they were burning a human size effigy of PM Modi, today congress party had decided to organize protests and dharnas at all the district headquarters of the state.
It is said that the human size effigy was heavily soaked with petrol and the party workers were very near to the effigy while one of them lighted it with the lighter. One of the party workers has been admitted to the hospital after this incident.
Necessary precautions were not taken which should have been taken and it made a mockery of Congress Party and its workers.
