From large conglomerates to tiny start up everybody came to aid the rescue mission in Nepal, offering men, money and materials.

Facebook launched a new feature called “Safety Check” where people marked themselves and other relatives safe from natural disasters to let their family and friends know they’re OK.
The social network also launched a fund raising campaign on Monday matches every dollar donated — up to $2 million — to the International Medical Corps, a nonprofit that is delivering medical care to earthquake survivors in the region.

Google has a Person Finder tool that helps people find missing family members or post information about someone affected by a natural disaster. As of Monday afternoon, the database was tracking about 6,200 records.
Airtel, BSNL, MTNL
– Calls to Nepal was charged in local rate
After the massive earthquake rocked Nepal, telecom major Airtel on Saturday announced free calls to Nepal on its network over the next 48 hours, while state-run BSNL and MTNL decided to charge local rates for calls made to the Himalayan nation for the next three days.
ITC’s subsidiary Surya Nepal
– donates 20,000 food packets
ITC’s subsidiary company Surya Nepal, which is one of the largest corporate entities in the Himalayan region, has sent 200,000 food packets and supplied nine tonnes of its Sunfeast biscuits and Yippee! instant noodles.
Mahindra & Mahindra Group
– Help through Machines
The Mahindra & Mahindra Group asked its local distributor in Nepal to provide the company’s tractors and pick-up vehicles to the government for rehabilitation work. Truly, a great effort.
The companies did not deter from extending helping hands.
Employees at Godrej Industries has decided to contribute one day’s salary for the quake victims and also assist in rehabilitation and reconstruction work. Soft drinks Giant company Coca-Cola sent 10,000 cases of 1-litre Kinley water bottles on Sunday and is working out ways to provide water to the affected areas.
