One word which comes to mind on seeing Vidya Balan is ‘Elegance’. The actress leaves everyone stunned with her glamorous collection of jewelry and sarees. However, even though she wears branded clothes and jewelry these days, things were different earlier.
On Wednesday Vidya attended an event as Senco Gold and Diamonds’ ambassador and recollecting her olden days, she shared the cost of her Jhumkas! Any guesses what would it be? It was just ‘Rs 5’, can you believe that?
Vidya displays elegance in every sense be it her exclusive sarees or be it the exquisite jewelry paired with them. Vidya even talked about the types of jewelry she prefers; mainly she likes to have a traditional touch instead of modern. Moreover, jhumkas are her favorite choice when it comes to sarees.
Talking about olden days, she says “I started with small jhumkas which we got for Rs 5, and by god’s grace I have now progressed… I sometimes wear those small jhumkas parents get you made as children when I am not in the mood to dress up much.”
Basically, the actress had come for inaugurating the showroom of this brand, which reflects ‘Richness’ and ‘Elegance’ in its collection of silver, platinum, diamond and gold jewelry.
