Shania-Lee Swart(19), the Mpumalanga batswoman proved to everyone what a “One-woman show” is. She displayed a fantabulous performance on Monday, in Pretoria during Cricket South Africa’s girls Under-19s week. Swart was the only one who rocked the field with her power-packed performance.
She opened the innings against Eastern Gauteng and surprised everyone by scoring 160 runs from 86 balls, rocking, isn’t it?

She deserved all the praises because she was the only woman who scored runs; yes, all her other 8 teammates got out at 0 and in total, they faced just 34 balls. Have a look at this craziest scorecard!

She wrapped up the game with Nicholate Phiri(Not-out); their 61-run was worth seeing. Out of 61, Phiri didn’t score anything and just faced 3 deliveries; so, once again, it was Swart who stole the show.
Swart hit 12 sixes and 18 fours and it was clear that 90% of her runs were from boundaries itself. The team scored 169, out of which 160 were scored by Swart and rest 9 came from extras i.e. 3 no balls, a leg bye and 5 wides.
Tumi Sekukune, the Eastern bowler took 5 wickets for 15 runs, but no one could stop Swart’s massive show. Ultimately, the Eastern team lost the game to Mpumalanga by 42 runs as they could score just 127 for 6. Have a look at their scorecard too;

The team is indeed lucky to have such a powerful player like her. What’s your take on this crazy scorecard? Do share your views in our comments section below!
