Crickets Fans In Bangladesh Protested Against ICC & Targeted Two Indian Bowlers - RVCJ Media

Yesterday we posted the viral pic which was circulating over the web and social media, showing Taskin and Jasprit both in middle of their bowling actions through which Bangladeshi fans questioned the bowling action of Jasprit.

On Sunday, Bangladeshi cricket fans formed a human chain and protested against ICC in Dhaka after ICC banned their spinner Sunny and fast bowler Taskin for suspected bowling action. The Bangladeshi fans not only shouted slogans against ICC but also targeted the Indian bowlers Ashwin and Bumrah and questioned why they are not banned for suspected bowling action.

They were shouting at the top of their voices, “If Taskin, Sunny are banned, why not Ashwin and Bumrah?” Both these Indian bowlers are presently the part of India’s World Cup squad.

As per the rules of ICC, while bowling, a bowler’s elbow should not bend more than 15 degrees otherwise the bowling action is illegal. A human chain was formed in front of the National Museum at Shahbagh and fans were carrying placards with these slogans written on them – “Shame on you, ICC! Your action is illegal. We want Taskin and Sunny back”, “No one will be able to suppress us”, and “Save cricket from ICC”.
