Recently, a global data collection and analysis firm Hype Auditor released a list of top 25 global Instagram influencers and Virat Kohli got the highest rank among the Indians celebrities. Analysis of total 1,000 Instagram accounts was done and the parameters which were taken into consideration were the involvement of the celebrities, creating social awareness regarding different issues such as COVID-19, inspiring and motivating people and the quality of the followers.
The Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli secured the 11th rank in the top 25 list while the top rank was secured by the Portuguese professional footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
Virat’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is at the 24th spot in the list while the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is at the 17th spot.
Virat and Anushka are expecting their first baby in January next year and they both recently celebrated their third marriage anniversary. Kohli is presently in Australia where he has led the team in the 3-match ODI series and 3-match T20I series. While Australia won the ODI series by 2-1, India made a strong comeback and won the T20I series by 2-1. The Indian team will also play 4-match test series over there starting Dec 17 but Virat Kohli will play the first test match only as he wants to be with his wife during the birth of their baby.
Recently during an interview, Anushka revealed that in the first six months of their marriage, they were together only for 21 days. She further says that whenever she visits Virat or vice-versa, it is not that they are having holidays because one of them is always working. The “Sui Dhaaga” actress also adds that having a meal together is not easy for them given that they are both are very busy so even one meal together is very precious time for them.
