People are eagerly waiting for the sequel to the most loved movie of 2016, Dangal! Yes, it was a BLOCKBUSTER and wooed the hearts of audience. Few days back, even Nitesh Tiwari, the director of the movie gave a hint that if he gets a chance to do the sequel, he’ll surely do it.
Forget all this; now, we have Shahid Kapoor who is eager to join the Dangal team. Yes, if a sequel comes up, he would be more than happy to be a part of it.
We came to know this when we read the conversation between Babita Phogat and Shahid Kapoor on Twitter. If you are thinking that Shahid wanted to play the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat in the movie, you are wrong! In fact, he wanted to essay the character of either Babita Phogat or Geeta Phogat in the movie.
