Villagers are also supporting Omvati’s claim as they told that police has been on a look out for Jay and his brothers for a week and this has frightened the family a lot.

A village representative, Hari Ram Singh said, “Police are raiding houses in the village every day, leading to immense tension. They are harassing all, including people like Jay Prakash whose name was not present in the absconders’ list.”

Police has accepted that Jay’s name was not in the absconders list but they totally denied any allegation of raiding houses or troubling the villagers.

The body of Jay was found by his relatives, a huge number of villagers got gathered there and police was also called immediately.

Yesterday, the local administration had a meeting with 25 village heads from Bishara and the nearby areas regarding on how to stop the false rumors from being spread and maintain a peaceful environment in the area.
