Dale Steyn Gives Smart Reply To Fan Who Asks, “Which Is More Rewarding? RCB Or Quetta?”

There is no doubt that Indians love cricket a lot and they are very much possessive for Indian Premier League (IPL). In fact it won’t be wrong to say that whenever someone tries to prove IPL inferior to any other league, that person gets a good bashing from the Indian cricket fans.

Something of this sort happened with the South African pacer Dale Steyn when he called Pakistan Super League (PSL) or Lankan Premier League (LPL) more rewarding as a player than IPL. He further said that IPL is all about money while in the other leagues, cricket is given more importance.

After Dale Steyn made this statement, he was trolled on the social media networks left and right and later on, he made a formal apology in which he stated that he never wanted to insult IPL. Earlier, the South African pacer opted out from IPL 2021 but he chose to play in the other leagues.

Recently, the cricketer held a question and answer session with his fans and he answered many questions related to many issues. However, the question which attracted people’s attention the most was the one in which a user asked, “Which is more rewarding? RCB or Quetta Gladiators?”

Dale Steyn was a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2019 and IPL 2020 but was not able to make any impact with his performance. In IPL 2020, he was included in the playing eleven for only three matches in which he picked only one wicket and after that, he was dropped from the team.

Dale Steyn gave a funny reply to the answer as he was not in the mood of creating any other controversy. He wrote, “Did you buy your followers? Haha”

The user also replied, “Haha. The reply-bait has worked, sir! Fan of your swings!”

IPL 2021 will start from April 9 and this time, the league will take place in India only.

We must say that it was certainly a smart answer from the South African cricketer. What do you say?
