Aamir Khan’s movie Dangal which perfectly highlights the journey of 2 champions Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat has not only got love and praises in India, but has received the same response in International markets too. On Friday, Dangal was released in China and it started its run with superb numbers.
It released on over 7000 screens and became successful just like his previous films PK, Dhoom 3 and 3 Idiots. Wanda, which is the biggest theater chain in China refused to screen Dangal, but in spite of this, the numbers seem to be impressive.

Wow, on the 1st day, Dangal earned a whopping 15 crores. In spite of being released in an International market, where people mostly prefer Hollywood films, Dangal has done really well.
It’s good to see that Aamir Khan shares a very good connection with people; due to Aamir’s humble nature and excellent rapport, his films get a lot of love. Basically, China has a fixed quota for foreign movies; yes, it allows 34 foreign movies to be released every year, out of which 4 are Indian.
With 15 crores, Dangal has beaten PK which earned 5 crores in China on the opening day.
