Rape cases are common these days, but some are way too brutal and unexpected. Some of them are so weird and inhuman that they leave us depressed.
Can you imagine friends being involved in this dirty act? They are supposed to be our support system and we trust them more than anyone else, right?
However, this girl wasn’t lucky enough because her friends raped her and then murdered her. So insane, isn’t it?On 4th of September, the daughter of the cop (Assistant Sub-inspector, Nagpur) was raped and murdered by 2 friends in Ambarnath.
The girl was an IT engineer with a Vikhroli firm. 2 of her friends raped her, murdered her and then packed her in a suitcase. After that, she was dumped near Belgaum (Karnataka).
The incident!
The accused have been identified as Akshay Valode (25) and Nikhilesh Patil (24). They have confessed their crime in front of Ratnagiri police station and have been charged with various sections of IPC. Nikhilesh Patil met the girl in Pune along with Nilesh in his car.
Later, she was taken to another friend Akshay Valode’s house (Ambarnath). Nilesh went out and this is when Akshay and Nikhilesh started raping her turn by turn. Since the girl threatened them that she would complain to the police, the accused got scared and strangulated her. After this, they stuffed her body in a suitcase and dumped the bag near Belgaum in a private spot.
Nilesh became suspicious after the suitcase was dumped; when he asked Nikhilesh and Akshay, they confessed the crime. Nilesh convinced them that they should open up about their crime to the police too. Then, they went to Ratnagiri police station and confessed it.
Police officials arrested them and charged them under various sections; as of now, investigation is going on. Let’s see what happens further. This incident is really very shameful! Should we really trust people around?
