Whenever Indian and Australian cricket teams face each other, things heat up not just on the cricket field but off the field too. This time also, we have witnessed moments of tension, humor and controversies. The teams are competing hard against each other whether it is during the match or during the post-match press-conferences.
The biggest controversy of the tour till now has been Steve Smith’s DRS-gate and Indian skipper has openly thrashed his Australian counterpart for “crossing the line”. Even BCCI and Cricket Australia stood behind their captains and made the whole issue more controversial. One day, Indians were angry with the way Aussies mocked Indian Captain Virat Kohli’s shoulder injury.
During the third test match which is being played in Ranchi, the Australian captain Steve scored a century in the first innings.
David Warner’s wife Candice Warner tweeted, “Sensational 100 for @stevesmith49. Letting the bat do all the talking. Well done skipper. #INDvAUS”
