This Friday, 2 movies Parched and Banjo hit the big screens! Unfortunately, both the movies received very poor response, may be due to ‘NO HYPE’.
Comparatively, ‘Parched’ managed to gain some attention owing to Radhika Apte’s bold scenes. However, Nargis Fakhri and Riteish Deshmukh starrer, ‘Banjo’ couldn’t garner audience’s interest.
It has come out as a shock for makers since Riteish movies have always known to be super hit. The occupancy of the movie was just 15 percent, which was way beyond expectations!

On Friday, the movie could mint just 1.72 crores, which is extremely disappointing, isn’t it? Let us see how the movie performs over the weekend.

Parched on the other hand could manage only 0.18 crores on the 1st day, which is very shameful. The movie had already been out in 2015 and made its way to several Film festivals. Since it was available on torrent sites, people have already watched it long back. Who would spend money to watch this again in theaters?
On the other hand ‘Pink’ stayed strong even in its 2nd week.

Yes, on Friday it collected 3.15 crores, bringing the 39.06 crores and surpassing the collections of both these flicks. It is already nearing the 50 crores club!
