Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic, “Sachin: A Billion Dreams” was surrounded by a lot of buzz; people were eager for the release because they wanted to see their God on big screen.
Moreover, since the film presents several stories of Sachin’s personal and cricketing life, the curiosity even more. Sachin’s biopic has been released in over 2800 screens across the globe and has faired really well on the opening day.
The film opened to a 40 percent occupancy in the morning, in spite of Friday being a working day. Baahubali 2 had already created a storm at the Box Office and now, Sachin’s film is here to repeat this history.

On the opening day, Sachn: A Billion Dreams garnered 9 crores, which is definitely a good thing. As compared to the first day collections of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story i.e. 21.30 crores, Sachin’s biopic has earned less, but it might pick up speed over the weekend.
However, with 9 crores, it has already entered the list of top 10 highest openers of 2017. Yes, it has occupied the 6th position in this list; check it out..
