This Diwali we have fireworks bursting at the Box Office as 2 biggies ‘Shivaay’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ have clashed! Yes, both had good possibilities to earn at the Box Office, but luck didn’t favor Shivaay much. This Ajay Devgn starrer became the favorite of critics, but ADHM became the favorite among youngsters. Before the release, there was a lot of political drama against the Karan Johar movie and it was even banned. Amidst all this, ADHM managed to garner good collections on the 1st day i.e. 13.30 crores, leaving behind ‘Shivaay’ with 10.24 crores. Let us have a look as to what the 2nd day collections have to say..

ADHM is already star studded and has Aishwarya Rai as the main attraction. But on the other hand, Shivaay is just a 1-man army and hence, it is struggling at the Box Office. On the second day, the movie collected 10.06 crores, thereby maintaining a stable pace. Everyone expected it to show some growth on weekend, considering the promotions and publicity that was made, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Hope for better numbers on Sunday. With the 2nd day collections, the total of Shivaay has reached 20.30 crores, which is not at all bad!
Day 1- 10.24 crores!
Day 2- 10.06 crores!
Total- 20.30 crores!
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil!

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil too maintained stable pace on the 1st saturday. The movie garnered 13.10 crores, bringing the total to 26.10 crores. Once again it has left Shivaay behind! Don’t know why people aren’t giving preference to such a wonderful movie like Shivaay.

May be this is the era of love stories and people don’t wish to change their taste and hence, the Ajay Devgn starrer isn’t getting a good response!
