Half Girlfriend and Hindi Medium are fighting each other at the Box Office and both movies are trying hard to surpass each other with regards to the number. No doubt, the makers of both, the Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor film as well as the Irrfan Khan starrer have done a great job; however, when it comes to comparison, watching Hindi Medium is recommended because of the wonderful performances displayed by Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar and of course, the million dollar storyline.
On the 2nd day, the collections of Half Girlfriend were stable i.e. 10 crores, but the numbers of Hindi Medium went up.
A good rise was expected on a Sunday; let us see how much they have garnered.

The film was expected to show a growth on Sunday, but unfortunately, the figures weren’t that satisfactory. On Sunday, the film earned 11.14 crores, thereby taking the total to 32.04 crores. Considering the hype and promotions, the collections aren’t good.

Hindi Medium showed a good growth even on a Sunday. It is rightly said that “Content is KING” and this Irrfan Khan starrer has proved the statement. On the 3rd day, the collections were 5.50 crores. With this, the first weekend total is 12.56 crores.
Day 1 – 2.81 crores!
Day 2- 4.25 crores!
Day 3- 5.50 crores!
Total- 12.56 crores!
