In spite of good promotions, ‘Banjo’ is having a very tough time at the Box Office and is witnessing very poor collections. Everyone thought that this Riteish Deshmukh starrer would be a hit, but unfortunately, luck didn’t favor the makers.
On the other hand, even Radhika Apte starrer ‘Parched’ is struggling with poor collections. Since the movie leaked online, there has been a drastic impact on the amount.
On the opening day, the movies failed miserably, with ‘Banjo’ collections being 1.72 crores and ‘Parched’ collections being 0.18 crores. A good response was expected on weekend; but that too didn’t happen as the movie showed only a slight growth.
Now, the 3rd day collections are out; let us see how the numbers are:

On Sunday, ‘Banjo’ was very dull and could mint just 2.25 crores, bringing the total to 5.92 crores. In spite of being a Sunday, the occupancy rate was just 15 percent, which is very disappointing. Do you think that the movie would even recover its making budget?
Day 1- 1.72 crores!
Day 2- 1.95 crores!
Day 3- 2.25 crores!
Total – 5.92 crores!

‘Parched’ collections are miserable! On the 3rd day, the movie collected just 28 lakhs, bringing the total to 62 lakhs. People were least interested in watching the flick in theaters, since majority of them had already watched it online.
Day 1- 12 lakhs!
Day 2- 22 lakhs!
Day 3- 25 lakhs!
Day 4- 59 lakhs!
On the other hand, ‘Pink’ is ruling the Box Office even at the end of 2nd week. Yes, on Sunday the Amitabh Bachchan starrer collected 6.57 crores, thereby making an entry in the 50 crore club, isn’t that awesome?
