Opening weekend collections of Dear Zindagi jumped to Rs 32.50 crores and this gave Alia and SRK a reason for celebrating their performances. Not only has the audience praised them for their acting skills, but even the numbers prove the success of the film.

On the 4th day i.e. Monday, the collections dropped from 12.50 crores, to 4.25 crores, isn’t it super-low? With this, the total has now reached 36.75 crores. No one expected such low collections on Monday, after such an awesome weekend.
However, the numbers are not that bad either, considering that Monday was a working day. It was due to SRK’s presence that the movie witnessed a promising start. There was a lot of variation in the word of mouth and this might be the reason why the collections are affected.
With 36.75 crores, the movie has already crossed its budget of 35 crores; which is definitely a great thing. Let us see how the movie performs in the coming week.
