Well well well…Marriages are made in heaven; quite a famous proverb. A nine year old boy Saneie Masilela personified it by remarrying a sixty two year old woman Helen once again to please his heaven based ancestors.
He said that his dead ancestors instructed him to marry. “I’m happy that I married Helen – but I won’t stop going to school and my studies. I’ll study hard and when I’ll grow up I will marry a lady my own age” he acclaimed.
His second marriage ceremony with the same bride of course took place at Ximhungwe in Mpumalanga (South Africa), and there were around hundred lucky people who witness the wedding.
The blusing bride and the cute groom were all in their traditional wedding attire. The cute li’l groom was looking quite pleasing in his silver tuxedo and the bride was all glowing while renewing their wedding vows. The boy’s family have blessed the union whole heartedly giving the bride a £500 gift and spending more han £1,000 on the ceremony making it a happy grand event for them. But, on the contrary, Sanele’s family have defended it saying that the union was not actually legally binding.
Sanele was just happy to get married, very excited and was not at all feeling embarrassed about it. “After my first wedding, people kept me asking questions like will they live together, sleep together, have babies but I keep telling them that after that this is quite a normal wedding as everyone rejoice, everything went back to normal and nothing gonna changed”. He said.
