Since the time demonetization has hit the country, people are struggling hard to get cash; it is flying out of ATMs and bank counters within minutes and many people are not even getting the basic Rs 2,000 per day due to shortage. Earlier, we had seen how government had made cash available at Petrol Pumps, Big Bazaar stores, V-Mart stores etc.
However, if you still aren’t able to meet your cash demands, Ola Cabs has some good news! In association with Yes Bank, Ola has introduced mobile ATMs termed Ola Cash-On-Wheels, which will help you if you aren’t able to get cash from banks or ATMs even after so many days of the ban.
The main idea behind this is to reach more and more people, who are facing issues. These mobile ATMs would be introduced tomorrow from 11 AM to 4 PM in major cities like Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai. 1. This transaction can be carried out only with debit cards.
2. You can’t withdraw more than 2000 per day, per debit card and it is subject to availability of cash.
3. This Rs 2000 will be included in daily/weekly withdrawal limit from ATM or Banks. As of now, the weekly limit is Rs 24,000 and this amount withdrawn from Cash-On-Wheels will be considered as a part of that.
4. Only cards that have this feature enabled, will be applicable.
